E-commerce Marketing

E-commerce Marketing Servicesfor Online Stores

We help online stores grow revenue profitably, with search, shopping, social and email working together and measured against your real store data.

Why it matters

Growing Revenue Is Easy. Growing Profit Is the Real Job.

Online stores face rising ad costs, tougher competition and platforms that each claim credit for the same sale. It's easy to grow revenue by spending more. It's much harder to grow profit.

Profitable e-commerce growth comes from several levers working together, organic visibility for product and category searches, efficient paid campaigns, a product feed that search engines love, a store that converts and email flows that bring customers back.

We manage those levers as one program and measure success against your store's real revenue and margins, not just what each ad platform reports.

Our recipe

How we run E-commerce Marketing

A clear, repeatable process with a named strategist and no outsourcing black box.

  1. Step 01 / 05

    Store & data audit

We review your store, product feed, ad accounts, SEO, email and analytics, and check that tracking matches real orders.

  2. Step 02 / 05

    Prioritize by margin

Products and categories are grouped by profitability so budget and effort go where they make the most money.

  3. Step 03 / 05

    Fix the foundation

Feed errors, tracking gaps, technical SEO issues and conversion blockers are fixed first.

  4. Step 04 / 05

    Launch & optimize

Campaigns, SEO and email flows go live and are optimized weekly against your targets.

  5. Step 05 / 05

    Scale & plan seasons

We scale winners and plan promotions around your peak seasons and inventory.

Profit Is the North Star

Many e-commerce agencies report on return on ad spend (ROAS) from each platform. That’s useful, but it can hide problems: platforms double-count sales, high-ROAS campaigns may only be capturing customers who would have bought anyway, and revenue isn’t the same as profit.

We start by understanding your margins, shipping costs and customer lifetime value. Then we set targets for each product group and measure success with store data and blended metrics like marketing efficiency ratio (total revenue divided by total marketing spend). It’s a more honest view, and it leads to better decisions.

Product and Category SEO

Category pages are often the best pages to rank for in e-commerce, because they match broad buying searches like “women’s running shoes” or “organic dog food”. We optimize them with helpful introductory copy, filters that don’t create duplicate-content problems, internal links and structured data. Product pages get unique descriptions, clear specifications, reviews and Product schema so they’re eligible for rich results.

Google Shopping and Performance Max

Shopping ads show your product, price and store directly in search results, making them one of the strongest sales channels for most stores. Success depends on two things:

  • The feed: we improve product titles with the words people search, fill in attributes like size, color and material, fix disapprovals and add custom labels for margin, bestsellers and seasonality.
  • The structure: we separate products by performance and margin so budget goes where it earns the most, and use brand exclusions so Performance Max doesn’t simply claim credit for brand searches.

Meta Ads for E-commerce

Meta Ads are often the best way to introduce your products to new customers. We run catalog-based and creative-led campaigns, test new ad concepts every month and use retargeting to bring back browsers and cart abandoners.

Converting More of Your Traffic

Small improvements to product pages, cart and checkout add up quickly. Typical wins include clearer shipping and return information, better product photos and video, visible reviews, trust badges, faster mobile pages, and fewer steps in checkout. Our Sales Funnels & CRO process tests these changes properly.

Email and SMS: Revenue You Already Own

For most stores, automated flows like welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase and win-back are among the most profitable marketing they run. We build and optimize them in Klaviyo or your platform, segment by purchase behavior and plan campaigns around launches and seasonal peaks. See our Email & SMS Marketing service.

Planning for Peak Seasons

Black Friday, Cyber Monday, holidays and your own seasonal peaks need planning months ahead: creative, offers, inventory, budgets, email calendars and site speed under load. We build a seasonal plan with you so your store is ready when demand spikes.

Reporting

How we measure success

A live dashboard plus a monthly strategy call. These are the numbers we report on, in plain English.

  • Revenue & profit

Store revenue and contribution margin from marketing, not just platform-reported sales.

  • ROAS & MER

Return on ad spend by campaign, and overall marketing efficiency across all channels.

  • Conversion rate & AOV

Share of sessions that buy, and average order value.

  • Repeat purchase rate

How many customers come back, driven by email, SMS and retention work.

FAQ

E-commerce Marketing FAQs

Straight answers to the questions we hear most. Don't see yours? Ask us on a call.

Which e-commerce platforms do you work with?

We work most often with Shopify and WooCommerce, and also support BigCommerce and custom platforms. Our recommendations fit what your platform can do.

Should I focus on SEO or ads for my store?

Most stores need both. Ads and Shopping campaigns drive sales quickly, while SEO for category and product pages builds traffic you don't pay for per click. We help you balance the two based on your margins and goals.

Why do my ad platforms report more sales than my store?

Each platform uses its own attribution and often counts the same sale. We report against your actual store orders and use blended metrics like marketing efficiency ratio (MER) to see the true picture.

Can you fix Google Merchant Center disapprovals?

Yes. We diagnose feed errors, policy issues and missing attributes, fix them in your feed or store and set up monitoring so new issues are caught quickly.

Do you manage Amazon too?

Our focus is your own store across Google, Meta, SEO and email. If Amazon is a major channel for you, we can coordinate with your Amazon partner so campaigns don't work against each other.

How much do your e-commerce marketing services cost?

We build a custom proposal after a free store audit, based on your catalog size, channels and ad spend. No long-term contracts.
